This series serves as an abstract or index to significant actions taken concerning Virginia WPA projects, and is especially significant because many Virginia WPA project folders are missing. The cards include such information concerning a project as follows: Presidential authorizing letter number; date of approval; project description; name of sponsor; location by state, county and city; estimated cost from WPA and from sponsors' funds; official project number, registry number, type number and state serial number.
